Most pelvic floor work happens at home.

Pelvic floor care is not just hands-on treatment. Your posture, breathing, movement and daily habits all directly affect how your pelvic floor functions — and that's exactly what online sessions are built around.

Sandra will help you identify what's driving your symptoms, and provide recommendations you can follow at home.

Common reasons women book with us

Leaking (urinary incontinence)

Leaking when you sneeze, cough, laugh or jump (stress urinary incontinence). Sudden urgency that's hard to control (urgency incontinence). Or a combination of both.

Diastasis recti

The abdominal separation that can happen during pregnancy and doesn't always resolve on its own. You might notice doming or a gap along the midline of your abdomen when you sit up, or a belly that doesn't feel like yours anymore.

Pregnancy and postpartum care

Birth preparation, perineal or caesarean scar recovery, returning to exercise safely, and rebuilding strength after having a baby.

Prolapse (pelvic organ prolapse)

A feeling of heaviness, pressure or bulging in the pelvic area. More common than most women realise.

Painful sex and scar tissue (dyspareunia)

Pain during or after sex, discomfort linked to birth scars or episiotomy, and hormonal dryness during breastfeeding or perimenopause.

Pelvic and period pain

Menstrual pain that disrupts your daily life, pelvic girdle pain during or after pregnancy, and other symptoms that just won't go away. This includes pudendal nerve pain, chronic pelvic pain, and other conditions that are often hard to pin down.

Vaginismus

Involuntary muscle contraction that makes penetration painful or impossible during sex, tampon use or gynaecological examinations.

Bowel and gas leakage (faecal incontinence)

Difficulty controlling wind, loose stools, or urgency without enough warning.

What to expect?
How it works

Everything happens over video call. Book directly through the online calendar and you'll receive a confirmation email with your link and everything you need to know before the session. Available in English, Spanish and German.

Preparation

Before the session, we'll send you a short questionnaire so Sandra can come prepared and make the most of your time together. It's very important that you fill this in before your session, so it can take place. You're also welcome to share any previous assessments or medical reports.

Afterwards

In the days following your appointment, you'll receive a follow-up email with your exercises and recommendations.

Important note: Our online sessions focus on education, lifestyle assessment, and preventative exercise programs. We do not provide medical diagnoses or offer medical treatment online. For acute symptoms, please consult your local doctor or gynecologist.

What women often ask

Can online sessions really help?

Yes. Pelvic floor care is largely about training, habit change and pressure management, all of which work well online. If your situation requires in-person care, Sandra will let you know.

Important note: Our online sessions focus on education, lifestyle assessment, and preventative exercise programs. We do not provide medical diagnoses or offer medical treatment online. For acute symptoms, please consult your local doctor or gynecologist.

Which session is right for me?

If you aren't sure where your symptoms are coming from, the 45-minute session is the right fit. If you want to address something specific, go for the 30-minute session. Still unsure? Get in touch and we'll help you find what's best for you.

What do I need?

A quiet, private and well-lit room with enough space to move around, a stable internet connection and a device with a camera.

What happens after the session?

In the days following your appointment you'll receive an email with your exercises and recommendations.

Is this covered by health insurance?

Sessions are privately paid and not covered by GKV (public health insurance). Reimbursement from private health insurance cannot be guaranteed (please contact your provider before booking to confirm).

What is your cancellation policy?

To reschedule or cancel, please email us at least 24 hours before your session at hello@withinfemalehealth.com. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will unfortunately be charged in full.

Do I need a referral?

Is this only for women who have given birth?

Not at all, Sandra works with women at every life stage.

What languages do sessions run in?
