In-person sessions give Sandra the chance to truly understand what's driving your symptoms and set clear goals together. She can assess and treat your pelvic floor directly, work on tension, pain and scar tissue, and guide your posture and movement in real time, all taking your personal history into account.

You'll leave with a clear understanding of what's causing your symptoms and a personalised plan you can confidently follow at home.

Common reasons women book with us

Pelvic floor assessment

Not sure what's going on, or simply want to understand your pelvic floor better? An assessment gives you a full picture of what's happening, what's driving your symptoms, and where to go from there.

Pelvic floor dysfunction

Feeling like your pelvic floor is too tight, too weak, or just not working the way it should. Whether that shows up as leaking, heaviness, or difficulty relaxing.

Leaking (urinary incontinence)

Leaking when you sneeze, cough, laugh or jump. Sudden urgency that's hard to control. Or a combination of both.

Diastasis recti

The abdominal separation that can happen during pregnancy and doesn't always resolve on its own. You might notice doming or a gap along the midline of your abdomen when you sit up, or a belly that doesn't feel like yours anymore.

Prolapse (pelvic organ prolapse)

A feeling of heaviness, pressure or bulging in the pelvic area. More common than most women realise.

Painful sex and vaginismus (dyspareunia)

Pain during or after sex, involuntary tightening that makes penetration painful or impossible, and discomfort linked to birth scars, episiotomy or hormonal changes.

Scar tissue

Manual treatment for perineal tears, episiotomies and caesarean scars, helping to reduce sensitivity, improve mobility and make the tissue feel like yours again.

Pelvic and period pain

Menstrual pain that disrupts your daily life, pelvic girdle pain during or after pregnancy, and other symptoms that just won't go away. This includes pudendal nerve pain, chronic pelvic pain, and other conditions that are often hard to pin down.

Bowel and gas leakage (faecal incontinence)

Difficulty controlling wind, loose stools, or urgency without enough warning.

Pregnancy and postpartum care

Birth preparation, perineal or caesarean scar recovery, returning to exercise safely, and rebuilding strength after having a baby.

What women often ask

Which session is right for me?

The assessment is for understanding what's going on — Sandra will assess your pelvic floor directly, explain her findings, and put together a personalised plan with exercises you can follow at home. A treatment session is where the hands-on work happens, working through the muscles and tissues you need to address and learning how to train them effectively.

If you've never seen Sandra before, the assessment is usually the right place to start. Still unsure? Get in touch and we'll help you find what's best for you.

What should I wear?

Anything comfortable that you can move in easily.

What happens after the session?

After an assessment, you'll receive a written report with Sandra's findings and a personalised treatment plan, including exercises to follow at home in the weeks ahead.

Is this covered by health insurance?

In-person sessions are privately paid and not covered by GKV (public health insurance). Reimbursement from private health insurance may be possible, so please check with your provider before booking as we cannot guarantee coverage.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can reschedule or cancel directly through Doctorlib. Please do so at least 24 hours before your session. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will unfortunately be charged in full.

Is this only for women who have given birth?

Not at all. Sandra works with women at every life stage.

What languages do sessions run in?

English, Spanish and German.
