Welcome back to yourself
We're so glad you're here. This program was created for the moment you feel ready to reconnect with your body, your desire, and your sexuality after birth.
Here is how it works: Each video comes with its own section in the practical guide so you can put what you learn into action straight away. Once you have worked through everything, The Spark is waiting: a playful toolkit with exercises and games to explore alone or with your partner.
Take your time with each section, and come back whenever you need to. This is your own space.
Your road back to yourself
Postpartum is always a first time
Everything has changed at once: your body, your brain, your identity, your relationship with yourself.
This first section is about understanding why, so you can start to see exactly what your body is going through and why it all makes sense.
When there is no room left for desire
When you are exhausted, touched out, and running on empty, desire does not stand a chance.
This section explains exactly why that happens and how your brain and nervous system are involved, so you can stop waiting for desire to arrive and start creating the conditions for it to find its way back.
What birth left behind
Birth leaves a mark, physically and emotionally, and that mark can show up in unexpected ways when you try to reconnect with your sexuality.
This section is about understanding what changed in your body after birth, including why sex can sometimes feel painful, how to work with your scar and your pelvic floor, and how something as simple as your breath can change everything.
Your Guide: Put it into practice
This is where the videos become action. Your downloadable guide includes practical exercises for each section to help you recognise your alarm system, reconnect with your body, and rediscover desire at your own pace, with yourself and, when you are ready, with a partner.
The Spark: playful ways to reconnect
Once you have worked through the three sections and the practical guide, this is where things get a little lighter. The Spark is a playful toolkit designed for the moments when you feel ready to explore and have some fun, alone or with your partner.
WHAT MOMS OFTEN ASK US
Pain is not something to push through or ignore. It is your body telling you that something needs attention, whether that is scar sensitivity, dryness, tension, or simply that it needs more time. The exercises in this program are a good place to start, but if pain persists, we recommend seeing a pelvic floor physiotherapist who can properly assess what is going on and guide you through it.
The general recommendation is to wait until after your six/eight week check-up, so your doctor confirms that your body has healed. If you had a caesarean or any tearing, recovery may take a little longer and your doctor should assess how your scar is healing before you begin. That said, being medically cleared does not always mean you feel ready, and that matters just as much. There is no deadline here.
If your scar has healed properly, which is essential before resuming any sexual activity, it is very unlikely to reopen. That said, healed does not always mean comfortable. The tissue may still feel tight, sensitive, or unfamiliar, and that is completely normal. Pain in this area is usually a sign that it needs more time, mobility work, or specific care before moving forward. Your body will tell you what you're ready for, and it is really important that you listen to it.
Yes, and it is one of the most common things women experience, especially while breastfeeding. As we covered in the program, oestrogen drops significantly after birth and stays low while prolactin, the hormone of milk production, is high. Less oestrogen means less natural lubrication, which can make intimacy feel uncomfortable or even painful. A good quality lubricant makes a real difference, and knowing that this is hormonal rather than a sign that something is wrong can take a lot of pressure off. It will change as your hormones rebalance.
